It’s Awards Season.
Posted in Testimonials, What's New on February 13, 2012
Here are just a few “awards” or special recognitions Core Arts Pilates wants to give out to its clients who worked their tails off to meet the goals they’ve set for themselves in 2011. Do you have goals for yourself? Grab your Pilates instructor and let them know what you want to accomplish, and we promise to get you there. Next year, we want to see more names on this list!
Miss America 2012 Finalist, Noelle Freeman
The reigning Miss California, Noelle asked Core Arts in early 2011 to help her look her best for the Miss America Pageant this month. Noelle was the 4th runner up and looked absolutely stunning throughout the event!
Tiffany Miller
Ever relentless, Tiffany came to Core Arts with one thing in mind – to be in the best physical shape prior to her Boston Celtics Girl auditions. Tiffany took Pilates daily during the eight weeks leading to the audition. The result? Look out for her at any Boston Celtic home games this season!
Ruth Mercado
Super mom of three, Ruth came to us to work on flexibility and strength. She just celebrated meeting this goal recently by hanging upside down in splits on the Cadillac! The dedicated Mrs. Mercado is looking fantastic – and that’s coming from none other than Mr. Mercado.
Tony Peralta
Tony injured his back while working and was seriously considering back surgery. He opted instead for heavy doses of Core Arts Pilates, therapy and acupuncture. We’re proud to announce that Tony is making his way back to work this week. Way to go, Tony!
May Koury
The proud mom of 5 month old Cassius, May asked Core Arts to keep her fit throughout her pregnancy via our pre-natal program. May continues to praise Core Arts for making her delivery as easy as can be.
CSUF Dance Team Members Chelsea H., Marisa S., Kara P., Ally M., Danielle H., & Karen T.
Along with the rest of their team, these gorgeous ladies had the distinct responsibility to continue CSUF’s winning ways at the national championships in Florida. They came to Core Arts to make sure they’re at their best for the competition. How did they do in the finals? CSUF just won their 11thnational title in January!
Thanks, Palazzo community!

This past weekend, the Core Arts team participated in its second community health fair hosted by the Palazzo at Park La Brea and its residents. The event was held this past Saturday, December 3, on a crisp and wonderful morning.
Local residents got to sample free massage from Core Arts’ massage practitioner, Lisa McCollum. And from the looks of things, they also loved the free apples that Sharmila and team provided. Other health and wellness providers included local dentists, chiropractors, orthodontists and skin care professionals. We were blessed to be the exclusive Pilates studio at the event.
We’d like to thank the residents of Palazzo East at Park La Brea for being gracious hosts. See you next time!
