Kenndra is an apprentice at Core Arts Pilates and is finishing her teacher certification training.
Kenndra was introduced to Pilates in 2002 to help heal a dance injury. Recovering rapidly from this injury, she also discovered that Pilates unquestionably increased her flexibility and strength as a dancer. Dancing since she was 2, Kenndra trained and competed in multiple dance disciplines through high school. She eventually started choreographing, winning numerous awards as a choreographer along the way.
While at college, she became team captain for the Cal State Fullerton Dance team, where her team won the National Dance Team Championship three times. After graduating, she continued to work with the team as coach and choreographer, where her choreography won the national title at both UDA College Nationals and USA College Nationals in 2009, and also UDA Nationals in 2010.
Kenndra is currently pursuing her Pilates Teacher Certification with the Power Pilates program in Irvine. She graduated with a degree in Health Sciences from California State University, Fullerton, where she continues to choreograph for the college dance team. She is also the advisor for the Esperanza High School Dance Team in Anaheim. Kenndra seeks apply creativity, communication and motivation, by utilizing her extensive dance knowledge combined with her Pilates education to help her clients with their goals.
