Cheryl Aure Azurin


Cheryl AzurinCheryl started taking Pilates in 2008 with Sharmila Mitra and immediately fell in love with the methodology. A dancer since the age of 5, Cheryl infused her love of dance into her professional career. While at college, she became a member of the Trojan Dance Force, during which, she started choreographing for nationally ranked song/dance squads in Southern California, including Cerritos High School, an 8-time Varsity Songleading National Champion.

After graduating from the University of Southern California, Cheryl continued her love for dance as L.A. Laker Girl for three seasons. She eventually choreographed for the Laker Girls, as well as, the L.A. Clippers Spirit/Jr. Jam/Fast Break Crew, Portland BlazerDancers, San Diego Charger Girls, San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush, and NFL Pro Bowl Cheerleaders. Cheryl was also the Assistant Director of Entertainment Teams for the L.A. Clippers for seven seasons. With over 10 years of professional dance team experience under her belt, Cheryl continues to mentor, groom, and coach young dancers for the professional sport dance team industry.

Cheryl received her Pilates teacher certification in 2012 from Carrie Macy. In 2017, she became an Authorized BodyStrategies Teacher through Core Arts Center. In addition to dance and Pilates, Cheryl is also a very proud mommy of three!
